EuroCard/MasterCard becomes MasterCard

MasterCard just started a campaign in Europe (TV-Spots, ads, etc) announcing
that "EuroCard" - the common name for MasterCard in Europe will now become
"MasterCard" and as such be the same worldwide.
Normally such a campaign will run for 6-12 months until everybody got the
message and then the old brand and logo will disappear and only the general
MasterCard logo will remain.
This makes life easier for the shopper, the merchant and the shopsite
developers. (No more manual patching of the cc name field, Loren
)
