In the custom template I specify </b> prior to [--LINK--] but ShopSite still
bolds the link. Is there any way I can get around this? The Bolded link is
very harsh from a design perspective?

The <b> may be in your [-- DEFINE LINK_TO_PAGE --] section. This section
is
defined in the help as:

"Marks the beginning and end of the HTML that defines the link that other
pages
will use to link
to this page. These tags must come before the [-- DEFINE PAGE --] tag
in a
template."

Yes, check the documentation and look at the sample page template. There
needs to be a DEFINE LINK_TO_PAGE section prior to the regular DEFINE
PAGE section.
