Hi all,

if you are running an online store, you will sooner or later start to
receive more and more spam.

We had the same problem. We use Outlook (not Express) as mail-client
software. There is an excellent (and free) software that plugs into Outlook
and removes spam with 99% accuracy from the inbox.

It is called cloudmark spamnet. Download from http://www.cloudmark.com/

Cloudmark makes its money by selling the spammer addresses reported by
spamnet users to large companies, so that these can filter their emails on
server level.

This software saves me about 30-45 min a day. Time that I can now use to
improve our online store :-)

Best regards,

Niko

We use Cloudmark's Spamnet and agree that it is a time saver.

MailWasher is also an excellent program that I used when I was on the PC.
You can build a list automatically that will just delete the spam and
virus'.

Since I am still currently designing my site on the PC has anyone used a
program that you put into your website that hides your email address from
the robots that pick up for spam? Is it very successful. I can't recall the
name but saw that yourhost.com had some literature on it the last time I
visited their site.
