Customer from Australia, where they have a 4 digit zip are having problems
entering the order. We set the system to determine sales tax based on zip.

Shopsite is telling customer they are entering an improper zip code.

Any solutions to this problem. We really like to have the sales tax
calculated based on zip. Since it save a lot of back office work when local
customers deliberate forget to include it in their order.

What is the zip they are entering?
What is the error message they are getting?
What is the version of ShopSite you are using?
Are you also using the UPS shipping feature?

ShopSite is checking for a minimum of 5 digits for the zip/postal code.
This will be changed to 3 or less in version 6.2.

We receive orders from Australia & New Zealand (countries with 4-digit
postal codes) and the orders come through OK. We are not using UPS or TAX by
ZIP code.

Yes, it will only be a problem for people using one (or both) of those, which is
why I imagine most merchants haven't experienced this problem.
