6.1.1 on RedHat 7.2 - Bad Value for Paytype

Hello,
Anybody experiencing this error? Seems like it happens when he customer
clicks on checkout and tries to go to the secure page. Only happening to a
few users of Internet Explorer 5 and 6. I'm pretty sure it has to do with
the security and privacy settings but can't pin it down.

thanks,
j.r.

John, I hope this helps.

I received the exact same error message with ShopSite Manager 6.1.1 on Linux
(not sure which version LexiConn uses) but using Netscape 6.2.

I had made some changes to the shopping basket layout and was testing our
website when the message started appearing EVERY time I tried to check out. A
check of the generated code verified the Paytype parameter was correct. I had
others try our website using Netscape and they could check out just fine.
Something on my PC was causing the problem.

On a hunch, I deleted the cookie ShopSite placed on my computer, let
ShopSite write a new cookie, and the problem went away. I was able to check
out and haven't seen the message since. I put it down to a corrupted cookie.

From the looks of Jim Hastey's web site he knows a good cookie when he sees one.
;-)

Geez, ya try to be serious and whaddaya get? A comedian (or two) in
every crowd. With "stale" jokes, yet! :o\

But seriously, folks, I'd like to know if the suggestion to delete the
cookie did John Rossillo any good.

Go on. One of you is just "dyeing" to make another cookie joke. It had
"batter" be good because I've heard them all, by the "dozens" even.
"Dough"n't think I haven't. And none of your half "baked" jokes either.
