switching https <-> http in backoffice

I use shopsite v5 on linux

I selected "Use SSL security in ShopSite:" with all the other voices above,
but navigating the backoffice I'm alwais redirected into normal http mode.
all patches have been applied.

This setting will only send you to the SSL url when accessing the Orders
section or the UPS configuration settings (v6 or newer) or the Commerce Setup
-> Payment area, these are the areas where sensitive information like cc
numbers and payment gateway info is displayed. If you want every backoffice
screen to be accessed via SSL then change your regular 'Merchant CGI's URL'
setting to an SSL URL.
