We are considering changing from manual credit card processing to using a
payment gateway. I'd appreciate any recommendations anyone can give me
regarding which payment gateways you think are the best (AuthorizeNet,
Verisign PayFlow, etc.) as well as any other information you think might be
useful to know about online credit card processing.

Thanks in advance!

I use Verisign and they charge around $1000.00 for the year and that
includes a secure certificate for my server and virtually no extra charges
all year. I have a rather active 3 sites and it works great. The on-line
interface could be improved but it gets the job done. Also if you use Order
manager, you can do live transactions just like the web site does. This
helps if you are on the phone with a customer and something is wrong with
the card, you can resolve it before you hang up.
