Hello,

What files should we backup from our store so if the worst came to the worst
and the server crashed at our ISP we could recover very quickly?

Is it just:

Products.dbi
Pages.dbi

Or do I need to backup page1.html page2.html etc?

If somebody could help?

Cheers,

Paul

Paul,
The Pages.db and Products.db contain most of the information for your store
pages and should definitely be backed up. There are various other files in the
data directory that contain information used in regenerating the store such as
the uheader.dat and ufooter.dat which you may be using on the pages. If you
have modified any of the default text strings used on the shopping cart or have
configured a payment method, sales tax, shipping option, etc then the related
files will also need to be backed up. You might also want to backup your
orders.db, orders.p.db which contain information about the orders your store has
received. So in short it would be best to backup the entire data directory for
the store.

You shouldn't need to backup the html pages created by ShopSite because they can
be regenerated if you have the information in the data directory. It might be a
good idea to back up your images from the media directory unless you already
have copies of them some where else.
