PRODUCT PAGE TEMPLATE PROBLEMAS

I'm trying to get the product display template to work correctly however
what we are given to work with on the help page is a faulty template... it
does not display the add and view cart buttons to show up... can someone
send a working 2 column page template that we can customize?

The custom product templates from the help do display the buttons.
