Hi,

We are having shopsite4 running on Windows NT (IIS4.0).

Recently some email problem is developed. When an order is received,
email could not be send to the customer and the merchant. It says Signal
127 and prints the message on the thankyou page it self.

How to fix this problem? Please advise.

Best regards

Praveen

This sounds like a problem you should have your hosting provider look into.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. We are hosting the site ourselves. ShopSite is the
only program on the server. At first, we were losting about 50 percent of
order email to customers and merchants. Now it has stopped sending
completely. We can telenet to our mailserver from the shopsite server and
connect with no problem to port 110. However, when we test Wsendmail from the
command line, we get all the hand shaking (helo) and the message is accepted
that we get an "Error 7" Failure_to_Send."

It appears Wsendmail is not working properly. We restored Wsendmail.exe file
from a backup, along with sendmail.ini nd it is still not working.
