Customizing Coupons, is it Possible?

Postby Beauty Cafe » Sun Jul 14, 2002 8:19 am

One of the features that I really use are Coupons. However, since I am still
setting up my site to go live this week at some point, I am still playing
with this feature. Am I correct in assuming that I cannot customize the
"assigned" coupon codes" Example, I provide a 10% discount to all customers
coming from a specific User Group....I assigned it as "AF" I want "AF" to be
my coupon code, not the long digit that gets created. Reason being, is that
this is a standing coupon always good to those people.

If this is not acheivable with Digital Coupon, what would be the workaround?

Danke!!

The ability to assign your own alternate code name for coupons was added
in ShopSite Pro v6.1.

6.1 was released just last week for some platforms. Your host should
have more information and can tell you when they may be ready to upgrade
your store.
