Thanks for you feedback Loren in regard to the checkout problem. We do take
a lot of orders through our store and on occasion we do get this error
message but it is very difficult to get the exact
message from an end user.

I mailed her for more information on the error message but she was not
forthcoming - this is the message I got back from Webex which is your
request for more information:




Hi Paul,

Here is the response we got back from ShopSite.

Is this the exact text of the error, or did someone recreate this from
memory? Because if this is the exact text of the error, I don't see how
it could even be possible because of things in the path, for example the
ip directory is always lowercase, not 'IP'. And the SSMSB should not in
any circumstance be separated from the numbers following it by a '/'.

If you could check with the merchant and see if they could get the exact
error message, if this isn't it, then that could help. Also, at what
point in the shopping cart process are the shoppers reporting that they
get this error? Is it when they first try to place an item in the cart,
or is it at some later point?

Please reply with the requested info.

This was the error but it may not be exact some kind of clue as to what can
cause this would ne helpful to exaplain to our customers - as we get lots of
orders everyday I can't think this would be down to the actual shopsite
software:
