electronic checks and linkpoint API

I read a post somewhere in the stack about accepting electronic checks. I
didn't know this was possible, and I couldn't find any documentation on it
by searching the shopsite website. Can someone please give me a pointer?

Also, does anyone have the linkpoint api working with shopsite? I will this
was a payment gateway that was integrated, but I suggested that a long time
ago...and it's still not on the features list!

I'm starting to change over my Shopsite and just changed to LINKPOINT. Have
you had any luck? If so cna you direct me to some information?
