We use ShopSite SC Pro 5.1.

We accept hardcopy personal checks, but don't currently accept electronic
checks. Recently two cusotmers placed orders by selecting Check as the
method of payment and filled in their Check Routing Number and Check Number.
We were surprised because these were the first two electronic checks we had
ever received. I have gone to Preferences --> Checkout and deleted the words
Check Routing Number and Check Number in the text edit boxes, but they still
show up on the Checkout page.

How do I get rid of the Check Routing Number and Check Number descriptions
and fill-in boxes on the Checkout screen?

Larry,

Instead of using the ShopSite 'Check' payment method, use one of the
Generic
Payment Options. The Generic Payment Options are the only ones where you
can
remove fields by deleting the text for the field label.
