Hi ,

If one uses SmartHTML, how can one get the Search function to find the words on the page?

With thanks,

Alec

In v5, SmartHTML (or Custom Pages) are not indexed for the search.

In v6 you can specifiy a search destination for a product and the product will be indexed and
in the search results the link will go to whatever URL you specify (at least this is one of
the options for the Search Destination fields).

In v5 if we create "More information pages" with
the same filename and contain the same text, but which
then get overwritten by the smartHTML file of the
same name, would the search still go to that page?

ie Does smartHTML trash the indexing of a page
of the same name that is over-written?
