Our "Associate" URLs have been banned by overture.

Associate feature banned by overture.com


Hi

Is there anyway to pause the "associate tracking"
URL just long enough so that a user can use their
browser's "Back" button ?

The problem we're having is that we wish to
track sales from overture.com - however we
have been banned from using an "associate" URL
e.g.
http://www.shiptonandheneage.com/cgi-bi ... ame=gotoUK
because it stops the user from going back if
they wish to.

It occurs to me that if we were to pause the
forwarding process from this URL into our site
by say 0.5 or even 0.25 seconds, the user might
be able to reverse back out of our site.

And that way we could still track orders placed through
Overture.

P.S. Strangely it seems that the USA part of
overture.com are more tolerant in this matter
that the UK part of overture.com !

We haven't been banned and we're using the Associates with Overture. Hope we
don't get banned... it's our only way of tracking our sales from Overture!

What's the trick to keeping the shopping basket "inside" the site?
I guess the top and bottom of the page are just about inserting
the correct header and footer HTML but
how do you get that left-hand menu ?!
