If one of our associates send us a customer but does not add to the basket
yet a week later he comes back and purchases does he still get credited with
the sale?

Cheers,

Paul

In ShopSite v5: Yes, as long as during that time the shopper didn't shut down
their computer or all the web browser windows.

In ShopSite v6: Yes, during the time that you have set for the "Keep unfinished
shopping carts:" setting in Commerce Setup -> Order System if the shopper
returns the Associate will get credit for it. (This setting is only in ShopSite
Pro, in Manager or Starter the number of days is the same as the default in Pro,
7).

This is because when the shopper comes through the Associate like, the re.cgi
creates an empty shopping cart for them as it redirects them to the landing
page. So even if they don't place an item in the cart, they have one and it will
remain for the length of time you have set for the carts to remain.

My understanding is "NO".
And this "no" is a big problem for us!
