We just went live with v6 yesterday (well, really late Thursday night). I
like it, although there are a lot of little "kinks" I didn't think would be
in there.
Example: The coupons. You have to give your customers a LINK to use a
coupon. No text field in the checkout to type a coupon code...
Another: UPS Integration. I thought there would be an option to offer UPS
integration and still have another option, say in case you didn't want to
use them for International orders since they are so expensive. Nope... at
least not that I can find.
I'm a little upset about the orders section too. No * next to new orders
anymore!! I have so many orders in my back office I can't tell what's old
and new!!
Other than these gripes, it's a solid program. One great thing is the upload
and publish. It's NOTICEABLY faster generation of pages is great. We have a
dialup at the store so at least updates don't take forever anymore!

This Coupon help page shows how you configure the shopping cart to have
a text field to enter coupon codes:
http://www.shopsite.com/help/6.0/en-US/ ... .cart.html
This shipping screen points out "that you can enable both UPS and Simple
Shipping by Weight, but all other shipping methods are mutually
exclusive", so you CAN have two shipping methods if they both use
weight:
http://www.shopsite.com/help/6.0/en-US/ ... pping.html
My store (also on Linux) doesn't have the problem of not showing the *
next to new orders. Are you sure no one is looking at them before you?
Perhaps your ISP trying to troubleshoot other problems? You may want to
try a test order and then quickly check orders in the backoffice to see
if you can consistently repeat this problem.

Oops, yours is on BSD, not Linux. But I also have a store on BSD and
can't repeat the missing * problem there, either.
