View Shopping Cart Default

As you know, on the ordering screen there is a check books that asks you if
you want to see the shopping cart everytime you add an item.

Is there a way to eliminate that option. I would like to have the customers
add to the shopping cart without seeing it until there are ready to check
out.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

There is a way to do it, but only if your cgi's are NOT in a 'shared'
environment, because the file that needs to be modified is global for all stores
that share the same set of cgis and the change will affect ALL stores sharing
them.

In the Shopping Cart CGI directory (usually called sc or maybe sb) there is a
file called basket_info.new. In this file is a token called smb: and by default
it's value is 'checked'. If you remove the 'checked' text so that the smb: token
no longer has any value, then you will get the results you are after.
