Hi Katrina,
That's what I thought. When I asked my isp to install the extentions,
they
recommended that I don't. So I did what you suggest, and it works
perfect.
Thanks for the note.

Hi Dan,
Yeah, that little Webbot thingy is generated by FrontPage and needs
FrontPage extensions on the server to deliver to the browser correctly.
It's
Microsoft's way of getting people to use their NT servers, which aren't
very
good.
Try going to builder.com and searching for a more universal code that
will
work across browsers and servers....

Hi Loren,
It's really strange, If I publish the html just as it is in Frontpage
and
not in SS, it works just fine. I decided to use imagemap software and
it
works just fine. Thanks for the help.

Hmmm, somehow my last response ended up in the middle of the
message,
so
here it is again at the top:
ShopSite is publishing it to the page just as you are putting it in
the
Text 1 field. But your HTML is incorrect. The <!-- begins an HTML
comment and anything after it until the --> will not be displayed.
You
need to find the correct HTML syntax for an image map and fix the
HTML
and it should work. Any good HTML book should have that.

Hi Loren,
I took it out of the universal header because all my pages were
messed
up.
I then put the code into a single page in the text1 box:
here is the html:

It still does not publish the image. The page is

PS. I used to work for Open Market in Boston. You guys must be
glad
you're
on your own. I still think Shopsite is easy to use, and am
looking
forward
to the next release.

You put the HTML in your Universal Header, made sure your
pages
included
the Universal Header checkbox, then re-Published? What is the
URL
to
one
of your pages with this code in it? There is not any way that
ShopSite
would 'ignore' anything you put in the Universal Header field
unless
the
pages aren't set to use the Universal Header or haven't been
published,
but it IS possible that the HTML is bad and won't display on
the
page
correctly.

Hi Loren,
It totally ignores the image and hotspots, if I cut the code

Ignores it in what way? Does it not even display the
image?
Or
is it
just a problem with the hot spots?
