Printing ShopSite 5.1 Orders

At one time, using Netscape, we could print several orders (multiple
copies of each) and each one was on a separate sheet. Now using Netscape
6.1, when we try to print more than one order, two orders (or a part of
the second order) are printed on the same sheet. Because of this problem
we must print orders one at a time which is very time consuming.

I would appreciate advice on how to print several orders at once.

Hi Larry:
sooner or later you'll have to move all your orders out of ShopSite into an
external database for better processing, maintenance and security reasons.
If you print from within your mailbox you can try to resize the default
fonts and print from there. However, I suggest you take a look at Barney's
OrderManager - this will give you all kinds of options to batch print orders
(and it will look much a lot more prefessional).

Thanks for your suggestion, however, we already have Barney's Order
Manager which we download all ShopSite orders to. Frequently something
changes about the customer's order after they place it online. We make
those changes in OM, but like to have a hardcopy of their ORIGINAL ORDER
as placed online.

Thanks again.

Hi Larry,
I think any changes are kept in the "Notes" tab of the order form. I just tried to
change an item in my order and it recorded "11/29/2001: Changed order for: (1)
A442 to (2) A442" in the notes. For retention purposes, I would only keep an
electronic record of the email - no need to print.
