Help ! How do I add a new product?

Hi,
I am a fairly new user of the ShopSite software.

Can anyone tell me how to add a product ? How is a number (itemnum??)
assigned to a product? When I add a link "Select" after the item
description, it requires a "itemnum" to be assigned ... ??

Sylvia,

You need to login to the ShopSite backoffice to add products. The URL
for your backoffice is probably:

http://shop.flash.net/cgi-bin/mgr-pro/ss/start.cgi

You will be prompted to login with your username and password. If you
don't know it, then you should get it from the person(s) at your company
that collect the orders, because it is usually necessary to login to
collect the orders.

Anyway, once logged in, go to the Products menu and Add a Product. Once
you have added the product, you can get the order buttons for that
product by going to Merchandising -> OrderAnywhere and selecting your
new product from the list and clicking the Show Link or Show HTML
buttons, depending on whether you want to see the link or the HTML that
creates the link. Some HTML editors will let you drag and drop a link,
so that is why you have that option.
