WebTV, Opera and pad locks?

To all,
I have recently posted about a customer who claims that he does not
see a pad lock on the secure page in IE 6 with Windows 98. The same
person is telling me that it does not appear in WebTV or Opera either.
Does anyone know if the pad lock appears in either of these browsers?
And has anyone else checked for this with IE 6 with Windows 98. I am at
a disadvantage in testing for these issues as I work on an Apple
computer.

Just checked with IE 6 and Windows 98. The padlock appears on the right
side of the Status Bar on the bottom of the brower. The Status Bar was
turned off on my browser. I looked under View and clicked on Status Bar.
The bar came on and there was the padlock on the right.

just checked your site with Opera on Windows2000 and the padlock does NOT
appear (same on my site) for the secure page
