You might find a that the Stone Edge Order Manager for ShopSite is a better
way to manage your orders than Quickbooks. Most of our users keep their
detailed customer, inventory and sales data in the Order Manager, which can
now also be used for purchase orders, FIFO inventory cost tracking, and much
more. Then they manually enter summary data for sales, shipping, sales tax,
etc. by the month, quarter or any other period into Quickbooks or another
accounting program.
Quickbooks was not designed to manage high-traffic stores. For instance, it
is limited to 10,000 customers and 14,500 inventory items. See their
specifications at
http://www.quickbooks.com/support/faqs/win/1173.htmlThe Order Manager can handle several times those numbers, and if you still
need more, we can upgrade you to a SQL Server back end without changing the
way you work with the Order Manager. The Order Manager was also designed
specifically for ShopSite, so it works great with it. It is also designed to
handle custom "plug-ins", so if you have special requirements, we can add
code to support them.

Does anyone know of or perhaps has written anything that would allow us to
export daily orders into Quickbooks ?
Thanks
