E-Mail Problem

E-Mail Problem

When a customer places an order, an e-mail is sent to the merchant. This
address is located in the Hosting Service section. I am trying to change
this e-mail address but no matter what I do, it won't change. I am running
5.0 on Linux. Any suggestions on changing this e-mail address.

What do you mean by 'it won't change'? Do you mean that after you make the
change and click the Save Changes button, if you were to go back in to the page
the setting had reverted back to what it was before the change? Or do you mean
that no matter what you change it to in Hosting Service, even though it appears
the setting has changed when you look at the Hosting Service setting again, the
email still comes from the original email addres?

One other question, did you recently move your store from one server to
another?

No I didn't change servers. The problem is fixed now. Every time I changed
the e-mail address in hosting, the change would appear correctly there but
the orders were still sent to old e-mail address. I found the problem in
store.aa

Is the store.aa file in the shopping cart cgi directories a symbolic
link to the one in the backoffice cgi directory like it should be? If it
is not, and it is an actual file, any time you make changes in the
backoffice to a setting that is contained in this file it wouldn't be
reflected in the shopping cart.
