Customers not getting through to secure page

We've received 5 reports in the past two weeks of site visitors getting
kicked back to previous page when they click finalize order to go to secure
page. Those who knew report they're using IE5. Shades of NetZip. What's
going on. Considering that almost no one will report such a problem, we're
presumably losing a lot of orders (We know that the NetZip problem was
losing us at least 35% of orders until fixed).
