Is anyone here using Mac platform?

Postby Guest » Wed Feb 06, 2002 9:07 pm

I primarily use the mac for my off line order processing using Quickbooks
Pro. I'd love to find a compatible software(for mac) that I can actually
download my orders into and streamline processing.
I am wondering if any one else here uses a mac for the same and what
software do you use to process your orders, generate invoices etc..?

Hi,

I use MYOB (Mac) but I have not yet tried to download the orders from
shopsite yet. MYOB has made a lot of progress and has a new release, so it
may work. If you find out, let me know. Thanks.

We're a predominantly-Mac operation here. We download our orders into a
custom FileMaker database that handles all our sales, products,
contacts, inventory, shipping, etc. We process our sales on a daily
basis and then in turn generates an export that we import into MYOB.

It's fairly involved but for security reasons we decided to keep the
FileMaker accounts info and the MYOB accounts info completely separate.
On the other hand, a couple of clicks and a little churning and we've
got all of today's orders sitting in our FMPro db waiting to be sent to
the processing and shipping departments.
