Options menu with custom templates

I have custom product templates set up and want to add the Finite text
menu on the product page. I can do this but all the options appear on
the same line in the drop down menu. How do I get them to appear the
same as they would in the cart? Thanks.

Can't be done in v5, can be done in v6.
