I don't know about you folks, but I spend more time than I like
responding to "Where is my order" questions, even though the majority
of my orders ship within 24 hours. I even had a lady who ordered at
11pm on Friday night and the following Monday morning was inquiring
about the status of her order.
I know the big guys and gals have the ability for their customers to
enter an order number and get real time status of their order. This
goes beyond the UPS tracking that is available at our website. We do
have orders where items are shipped in multiple packages from
different facilities throughout the US (drop ships) and sometimes we
have to wait on a fresh batch (backordered) before we can ship. We
have stock emails we send explaining all this but we still get the
constant questions.
Does anyone have any insight or know of any compatible software where
customers could readily get real time order status and tracking of
their items?
