Custom Templates Question

Hi Group,

I am new with custom templates. (never tried them) I sell jewelry with
options. Three examples are below.

Can I make a custom template(s) that will work for all three examples, or do
I need to make one template for each example and can shopsite manager handle
this?


EG 1: Rings with option of size and option of birthstone (3 per page)

I guess I am trying to determine if I need to make several "Types" of
product templates for each "type" of product. (If the ring has 2 optins
then that is one template and if the ring has one option, that is a
different template). And can Manager custom templates make pages like I
have already made?

Or, does one master product template allow me to sell all my jewelry, I just
need to set it up properly?

I think what you'd want to do is make one product template for each
different layout you'd want... and tie that into a page template.

We use both custom product and page templates in our new design. We continue
to customize this as we go but as of now we have two page templates and one
product template. However, you can have an unlimited number of products/page
templates.
