Gift certificate generation failure

One of my customers just discovered a problem in the gift certificate code.

If the gift message has double quotes in the message:

Message: A Belated "Merry Christmas" to you.

the order gets processed, the credit card gets charged, but the thankyou.cgi
program fails.

The emails do not get sent and the gift certificate isn't generated.

There is an order generated but when you try to print out the gift certificate
that fails, obviously, since the gift certificate wasn't generated.

You currently have the initial v7.1 release. I would suggest that you
upgrade to the most current maintenance release, v7.1.2, and see if that
resolves the newer version has already resolved your issue.
