Product subcategories?

Hi everyone:

I am researching the best solution for a potential client who has a
business with approximately 5,000 products (mostly one of a kind
collectibles).

Now that I am at Shopsite, my first question is: how many levels can I
have with the page system. It seems like there is only one level
possible and that I cannot make subcategories.
I had the same problem with bizestore.com.

Any suggestions?

I noticed you mention StoneEdge on this board. Would Product Manager
provide a multi-level system?

I also have "miva" on my list. My problem with them is that I can't put
plain html pages in their system. I would have to link the miva catalogue
in another site.

Any users out there who have previous experiences with Miva?

The Stone Edge Product Manager does not have a multi-level system, although
you could simulate one by using some of the custom fields for your levels
and assigning products to pages based on those fields.

The product that you should really look at is the ECom Assembler, which is
designed to work with a 3-level hierarchy of Categories, Subcategories and
