Malina -
I think we spoke on the phone yesterday, and I told you that this would
require ShopSite Pro and a custom program that would hook into the Order
API. As far as I know, that would be the only way to do what you need in
real time.
However, we could add a custom function to the Stone Edge Order Manager for
ShopSite that could either send out the appropriate emails as you import
orders downloaded from ShopSite, or do it as you approve the orders manually
in the Order Manager.
We recently added user-definable custom fields to the Inventory table in the
Order Manager. You could use one or more of those fields for the email
address and any other information you want to send.
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think that you could do what
you need with the standard Order Manager by using a combination of custom
fields and an email template that would automatically fill in the required
information and email it to your customers.
So, if it would be OK to send out your emails as you download orders,
instead of in real time, give me a call back and we can figure out how to do
it, hopefully without needing any custom programming.

I have a site that sells about a dozen products. I
am trying to figure out a way to email different
addresses based on what the product purchase is.
I.E. customer buys product #1 which notifies email
#1 which sends an auto responder with information
on downloading an electronic bonus.
Currently, Shopsite only sends one email out to
notify of a purchase. Anyone have a suggestion?
