Tracking PPC and shopsite

Postby Phil Spinelli » Tue Sep 14, 2004 11:06 am

Hello,

Has anyone found a program to track PPC with shopsite.

I'm talking about tracking hundreds or thousands of terms.

Need detailed tracking.

thanks,
Phil

Assuming that PPC means pay-per-click as in paid keywords on search
engines, have you looked into:

Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
KeywordMax.com
Fireclick Netflame
GoToast.com
HyperTracker.com

All of these have integration methods that are known to be compatible
with ShopSite Pro via some custom coding. Probably most other tracking
companies have the same type of integration capabilities.

Thanks, I'll check these out.

I'm looking for 'easy' one page type of reporting that shows terms and
clicks-per-sale.

Don't want to scroll though tons of pages to see results.

Cost per sale would be nice, but I'm more concerned with click vs. sales
per keyword.

If you don't track your conversion rate on pay-per-clicks, you may as well
just flush your money down the tolet.

I have a programmer looking at something right now. If it works I'll post
it.

thanks again.

You should checkout some of the features with the Urchin website
statistics software. They have some e-commerce add-on software that can
track all sorts of information.
