Configure reports -> file name

Hi all,

not really a shopsite question, but still, maybe somebody can help me.

Our dedicated server runs his own strategy concerning the log files that we
need to return us the reports for shopsite. The data is written into a file
with the following name format:

access.log.14.3

-> access.log stays always all the same
-> 14 is the number of the week of the year (value increases every week by 1
and starts over in the new year)
-> 3 is the number of the day of the week (3 = Wednesday, value increases
every day by 1 and restarts every Monday with 1)

I am currently adjusting the file name in -> Reports -> Configure manually
every day in order to get the statistics correctly for our shop.

Is there any way that I can automate this process? I would already be happy,
if I could get working in such a way that I have to touch the file name once
per week only.
