Search engine upgrades

We have asked this before, but now that Version 7 is out, maybe I can get a
response from Shopsite.

When using subproducts, the search engine listings become very confusing and
basically unusable because both the product and subproduct appear in the
resultls and the buy button appears next to the subproduct with no buy
buttone next to the main product.

This makes the use of subproducts impracticale if I want my customers to be
able to search. Does Shopsite have any plans to fix this problem?

Generally, I like the Shopsite search results much better than most of the
3rd party offerings that return results that are similar in format to
Google.

Any ideas/solutions/etc would be appreciated.
