Order Info --> Mailing Label

Postby Robert Toeppner » Fri Oct 31, 2003 12:44 pm

Hi everyone.
We're downloading our orders into an Excel format offline.
We then print labels onto a label template in Word using Avery 8164 label.
Currently we are copying and pasting each cell from the Excel document and
pasting into the Word document.
There's got to be an easier way!
What's your take on the easiest way to extract the shipping information from
these orders and putting it onto the label?
Thanks in advance!

Hi
How are you getting them from ShopSite into excel?
Do you know how to use Microsoft Access?
What version of ShopSite are you using?
I will give you some ideas after you answer these questions!

David,
In response to your questions...
1)I'm going into "Orders" then "Download Orders" then saving to "Simple
tab-delimited text file format" with Version 6.3, and naming it a .txt file.
2) Yes, I've used Access in the past.
3) I'm currently using SS Pro 6.3
Thanks,
-bob.
