Adding a new field to a product

Hi,

I'm using ShopSite Pro 6.3.1
I'm looking for help how to add a new filed "myfield" to the product
definition, then where and how I set its value and finally have it
displayed
on the generated pages.
Does anyone out there did something similar and can describe
the steps for doing this.

ShopSite Pro has 5 merchant definable product fields. The fields can be
displayed from a generated page if you use custom templages. See:
