Converting orders and downloading into invoice program.

Postby Phil Spinelli » Tue Jun 17, 2003 7:48 am

Hello,
Looking for some information for converting shopsite orders so they can
be imported into an invoice program.

Can this be done with a cgi program or do you have to download from back
office, them convert them with a access program.

Right now, we download orders from the back office, then run them
through a access program on our computer. I'm looking for other options
to convert orders into a downloadable format for our invoicing program.

We have done this a few different ways.
1) use the download database feature.
2) use order API with perl script - do you do perl?
3) in v6.3 there is an xml download - I havent looked at it yet.
4) call - Barney Stone, President Stone Edge Technologies, Inc.

5) check back with me later.. I am working on a perl script that will insert
the orders into sql server.

thanks
