Moving to a new server

Hi, I am going to move from a celeron 1.3 to a pentium 4 2.0

I use a control panel (ensim) to manage my server. If I backup the websites
and then restore them to the new server which will have the same domain name
but a different ip, will the store work without going through all the steps
in the support database?

It depends. If your backup/restore works correctly (gets all the files, gets the
symlinks as symlinks, restores with all the correct permissions, etc), and if
all the filepaths/directories stay the same on the new server, and all of your
URL settings in your ShopSite's Preferences -> Hosting Service screen are based
on the domain name, not the IP address, then you will probably be alright doing
it this way.
