Membership Discounts

I am looking for a way for ShopSite 6+ to recognize paying members
(subscribers) who get discounts or special pricing when they are logged in
to the website. Anyone not logged in to the website would pay the
undiscounted price.

I have looked around and was directed to Comcation, but their buyer
registration is not exactly what I'm looking for.

I have found a few other shopping carts that have this functionality, but I
was hoping to do it with ShopSite.

Any ideas?

A few ways this could be accomplished:

1. Have a password protected catalog area where subscribers can login to
access store pages that offer products that are a lower cost. In essence,
you would have duplicate products in your store, one for retail, one for
subscribers. Only make the special products available on catalog pages in
the password protected area of the website.

2. Use dynamically created pages outside of ShopSite that check for a cookie
or login information to display these specially priced products instead of
the regular ones.

3. Use coupons as a discount method to subscribers.
