Authorize.net with SS 6.1 Help

Postby Andy » Wed Jan 15, 2003 6:29 pm

Hi,

Authorize.net just gave me this notice when I logged into their service:

You are currently enabled to submit transactions to the Payment Gateway via
the WebLink connection method. However, it is strongly recommended that you
convert to either the preferred Advanced Integration Method (AIM) or Simple
Integration Method (SIM), as WebLink will soon be discontinued as an
acceptable Payment Gateway connection method. If you have already converted
to AIM or SIM, please disable WebLink immediately. Once you disable WebLink,
you will no longer be able to submit WebLink transactions.

I thought I was processing with AIM.

What settings do I need to enable in shopsite? And in Authorize.net settings
it asks for:

Delimited response (yes) (no)
Default Field Seperator (comma), (pipe) (quotes) (etc) OR
Field Encapsulation Character (pipe) (quotes) (etc)

What settings do I need to use?

Help, and thank you so much!!

ShopSite uses (and always has) what Authorize.net now calls AIM, so as
long as you are not using Authorize.net with any other applications you
can go ahead and turn off the WebLink stuff in your Authorize.net
account. You do not have to do anything in ShopSite.

The other Authorize.net settings you mention should just be left at the
defaults.
