Accounting packages

Does anyone know of or perhaps has written anything that would allow us to
export daily orders into Quickbooks ?
Thanks

The company below has several ShopSite add-on modules available. One will do
accounting integration. Please note that I have never used any of their
products as they are somewhat pricey for me. I have just received info on
them.

Re: Accounting packages - Comcation

Hello All,

We hosted with Comcation for 1 1/2 years, and recently left them. We
carefully considered each of their modules for integration with our web
site, and I would definitely agree with Norman that the are extremely pricey
for what they offer, especially when one considers the initial cost of Shop
Site. Also, Comcation seemed mainly focused on promoting a new Java based
e-commerce tool that they have developed, and were not offering competent
support for existing Shop Site customers. I would proceed with extreme
caution with any Shop Site modules that Comcation offers.

You might find a that the Stone Edge Order Manager for ShopSite is a better
way to manage your orders than Quickbooks. Most of our users keep their
detailed customer, inventory and sales data in the Order Manager, which can
now also be used for purchase orders, FIFO inventory cost tracking, and much
more. Then they manually enter summary data for sales, shipping, sales tax,
etc. by the month, quarter or any other period into Quickbooks or another
accounting program.

Quickbooks was not designed to manage high-traffic stores. For instance, it
is limited to 10,000 customers and 14,500 inventory items. See their
specifications at http://www.quickbooks.com/support/faqs/win/1173.html

The Order Manager can handle several times those numbers, and if you still
need more, we can upgrade you to a SQL Server back end without changing the
way you work with the Order Manager. The Order Manager was also designed
specifically for ShopSite, so it works great with it. It is also designed to
handle custom "plug-ins", so if you have special requirements, we can add
code to support them.

For more info, go to http://stoneedge.com/OrderManager.htm or give me a call
at the number below.

No,

But I hear that the next version might accommodate it. Books wants a ton of
money for integration.
No matter what software you have the integration is always different.
