Multi-Currencies in V6 ShopSite...

Hi

Does v6 of Shopsite allow
a) the display of multiple currencies within the shopping basket

b) the transaction to be made in the currency of the customers choice ?

e.g. We need to be able to sell in GBP, Euros, and USD.

- Would we need to buy (and maintain) a separate copy of Shopsite
for each currency ??!

Hi Alec,

Shopsite does support two currencies. One is the main currency for ex. EUR.
In the store settings you can define a factor and a symbol for the secondary
currency. All prices will be diplayed in the main and the secondary
currency, but the shopping cart will only show the main currency and all
transactions can only be billed in the main currency.

To be complete: Shopsite can also only display net prices for products and
add on the tax in the shopping cart, but not the other way around: Display
price including VAT on the product pages and substract VAT in the shopping
cart if the shopper is from outside the EU, eg. Channel islands, Switzerland
or the USA.

Thanks. So that means if we want to do the transactions
in a second currency then we need a new copy of shopsite!

And if so, can we buy copies with all the text descriptions
already converted for us to save time?
