Coupons That Expire

Postby Larry Bohen » Mon May 13, 2002 11:21 am

Is there a way to offer coupons (5% off next order if placed by 6/1/02) that
expire if not used in time?

In the v6 Pro Merchandising -> Coupons -> Add a Coupon screen there is a "Coupon
Expires" field for you to choose the expiration date, hopefully you have been
setting this, because the default date listed there is the current time. If you
don't set this, you are creating a coupon that expires immediately (actually, it
would already have expired by the time you finish making it).

Speaking of this, is there a way to let a coupon be used ONE time or a certain
number of times? We would like to offer a customer $10 or 10% off their NEXT order
sometimes (like if they have a problem) but we don't want to be able to let them
order 10 times with $10 off an $11 order.

Thanks!

No, no one-time use coupons at the present time.
