Associates/Affiliate e-mail notification

When an order is processed and it is as a result of an associate referal
then an optional e-mail can be sent to the associate confirming the sale.
This is great and we've been using this.
However the Order Number is also included in the e-mail message. This has
nothing to do with the associate and we consider this confidential
information as the associate will be able to deduce how many other orders
are being pushed through the web site.
Can this be removed in the next release?
