Shopsite 6--Shipping Choices

Hi everyone,

I've been playing with a Shopsite 6 Demo store.....hopefully in
preparation for our upgrade.

Can we combine UPS shipping with flat shipping by weight? For example,
if our Special deliveries went by UPS but regular shipments went by
another carrier?

The only way I can see to do it is use basic shipping by weight and set
it up with UPS prices--but then we'd have to average the cost across UPS
shipping zones....any ideas?

Yes you can have both UPS shipping and Simple Shipping by Weight enabled
at the same time. The shopper will see the UPS shipping methods and
their prices as calculated by UPS and also the Shipping options you
setup in the Simple Shipping by Weight table. They can then select the
shipping method that they desire.
