Using Surcharges.

I am setting up Shopsite Pro V. 6.0.0.1 on my ISP's system. I find the
following problems in using Surcharges:

Shopsite was set up with "Choose One" option per the online
documentation. It was coded as "Choose One;n" However, when used
after publishing, this generated an error which said that the surcharge
field MUST have a valid entry. How can I control this?

Also, I Loren told me that shipping can be calculated in the surcharge
field. The Knowledge Base has an entry which states that you can
calculate a charge by turning off shipping and using surcharge to
calculate shipping as a percentage of the total cost. However, the Help
screen for surcharges only lists a "flat" surcharge per order or one
based on the nunmber of products "p".

So, two questions: How do you include total order value in a surcharge
calculation? Why does the "n" designation not work with SS Pro 6.0.0.1?
Do I have to get my ISP to upgrade?
