CyberCash Order ID, and AVS response in ShopSite 6 e-mail no

Postby Flatlander » Thu Apr 18, 2002 5:08 pm

We just upgraded from ShopSite 5 to 6. In 5 the e-mail order notifications
the store sent us for each order included the subject information, for
example:

CyberCash Order ID:##################
Authorization Code:######
AVS:Y

The 6.0 e-mail order notifications do not include this information. Is
there a way we can get 6.0 to include the information in the e-mail order
notifications it send us?

It is important to us for two reasons.

First, we like to check the AVS response in the e-mail rather than in the
orders in the back office.

Second, we use the Order ID in the e-mail to cut and paste for returns.
This is much better than have to rekey the 16 digit number when processing
returns. We just search our e-mails for our ShopSite store order number we
are processing the return on. That e-mail is then also ready to reply to in
order to provide the customer confirmation of crediting back his credit card
for a return.

Thanks,

Wayne

According to the May 4 ShopSite Technical Bulletin, Release v6.0.3 corrects
this problem.
