Help! Urgent, core dumping

Postby Al Koehler » Sat Apr 13, 2002 8:14 pm

Hi,
I need a certified shopsite person to help me fast.
Our lovely host crashed the server and moved us to a new server and now all the cgi's are
core dumping. I have no idea how to fix this and need some one i can pay to fix it . we've
been down for 4 days now..
My normal shopsite guy isn't responding fast enough..
I tried to restore the script(one or two) from a back up i have but to no avail...
After we get fixed i will switch to a shopsite host,, but for now i need to get back up
and running..
please help

It is possible that you should consider switching now. Some on the forum have claimed that
they have been up and running within 24-48 hours of switching to new hosts (see previously
posts above). Hopefully some will respond with recommendations. My host has dropped ShopSite
so I can't recommend it.

Oftentimes, the 24-48 hours is only due to DNS propagation
through the Internet.

Sent an email to Al last night with some info for him to check on
with his current provider and questions on whether he has direct
access to his ShopSite cgi directory.
